BLUEBERRY MUFFIN

Hybrid of H. Frances Williams x H. Fall Bouquet, from Bill Meyer. A beautiful mound with rich blue foliage that deepens to blue-green late in the season. Leaves 9"long x 7" wide, almost round, heavily corrugated, slightly rippled, unruly and thick substanced. I think this hosta has the nicest blue color of any hosta. Petioles are a very attractive light mauve with matching mauve scapes carrying lavender flowers in July. Plant this hosta with lots of morning sun to maximize on the frosty wax coating, but avoid the afternoon sun which will burn it off.
