Original seedling of unknown parentage from Mildred Seaver, 2001. Leaf blade 11"x 9", heavily rippled, thick, intensely glaucous, rich blue-grey, turning more green later in summer, some corrugation when mature, veins furrowed, edge strongly piecrusted and slightly serrated, deeply lobed and twisted at the tip, broadly oval, good substance. Near white flowers in July. The dramatic rippled margins will stand out in any collection. An extremely beautiful hosta to have as a centre piece. I look forward to seeing this hosta each spring after it unfurls. It turns green throughout the summer but its spring show is well worth it.
