DRAGON TAILS

Seedling from W. Zumbar, K. Walek, 2009, parentage unknown. Small dense mound of narrow, heavily rippled gold foliage. Leaves 3 1/2"long x 1 1/2"wide, whitish shiny leaf underside. Medium purple flowers on 17"scapes in late July. Great as an edging plant, in rock gardens, in troughs or shallow containers. Will take lots of morning sun provided it has lots of moisture.
