BLUE UMBRELLAS

Cross of Tokudama x H. sieboldiana 'Elegans'  from F. Shaw, Paul Aden. Large, thick, bluish green umbrella like leaves exhibit excellent slug resistance. Leaves can be 15 inches long by 12 inches wide, bluish early, changing to shiny dark green by early summer, ovate shaped, corrugated, inversely cupped and covered with a thick underside bloom. Makes a beautiful specimen. Very pale lavender flowers on 30-36 inch scapes from late June to late July.
