Hosta Description
Hybrid of H. nakaiana from R. Savory, 1977. Dense mound of greenish gold foliage, color much brighter with more direct sunlight, leaf blade 4"x 2", narrowly ovate, slightly wavy, smooth textured, thin substance, dull on top with a a whitish shiny underside. Bright purple flowers in July and if scapes are removed, it should rebloom in September. Great as an edging plant or in mixed window boxes. I have found this very fast growing hosta takes a lot of sun, in fact looks way better in almost full sun as it then stays shorter, brighter and very dense and compact.
