GEMSTONE

A really pretty blue color on this small plant. A Tony Avent hybrid of hosta venusta x Dorset Blue. A small mound of thick blue-green leaves 4" long x 3 1/2" wide that are oval in shape, smooth in texture and have good substance. Pale purple flowers open on 19-22" scapes from late July into early August. Gemstone has a medium growth rate and is an outstanding blue-leaved edging plant.
