POWDER BLUE

Originator's stock (OS) directly from Peter Ruh. The late Peter Ruh was one of the original hosta hybridizers from Ohio, USA. Leaf blade 14"x 11", rich powdery blue color, glaucous above and below, leaf blade very broadly oblong ovate, cupped downward, heavily corrugated, thick substance. Very pale lavender flowers in July. This cultivar holds true to its name with its intensely blue foliage color. Beautiful grown with lacy ferns or other contrasting dark green foliage.
