Open pollinated seedling of Hosta Neat Splash, 1982. One of Mildred Seavers favourite plants at that time. Leaves are 6 inches long x 5 inches wide, chartreuse with streaks of creamy white, yellow and darker green. Leaf blades are ovate shaped, slightly corrugated and slightly wavy, average substance. Pale lavender flowers in July on 28 inch scapes. Forms seed pods with fertile seeds, giving lots of streaky seedlings. Great for hybridizing with. As with many streaky hostas you will need to dig this one up every few years to take the solid colored shoots out or they will take over the plant.
