AMERICAN HERO

Very interesting sport of H. Revolution from Walters Gardens / Hans Hansen, 2009.  The twisted leaves are thick with a wide dark green margin. The centre of the leaves are white with green speckles. The white centres of the leaves feel thicker as if some of the leaf material is drawn in. American Hero will send up solid green shoots or shoots with very little white that must be culled or they will take over the plant. Very unusual if you like a challenge.  Lavender flowers in midsummer.
