Some hostas may not be available at the beginning of the season due to their small size as they may have recently been brought in
as small liners or their later time of emergence out of the ground in the spring. Most of our hostas are either field grown or retail ready size.
For mail orders, please email us your list. We ship with Canada Post so the shipping cost depends on the size of the box needed to fit your order into, the weight and the destination. We ship mostly on Mondays only so that most orders can arrive on or before Fridays. Orders for Alberta, BC, some destinations in Saskatchewan, and Newfoundland take longer so those orders are usually sitting in a post office over a weekend. We soak the roots of the hostas in transplant solution for 24 hours to fully hydrate the plants, then we wrap the roots in wet paper towels, place in a bag then roll the entire plant in newspaper before placing them in an appropriate sized box.
